Kent asked me to post some pictures of his ride so far. He is on his way to the Great Divide Mountain Bike Race. Kent spend Day 1 traveling from his home in Issaquah, WA to the top of Blewitt Pass, by way of the John Wayne rail trail. From there, he traveled HiWay 2 to Spokane, where he arrived at 12:15 AM last night (this morning -- 6/14/2005). He slept in our basement last night, had breakfast with my wife, daughter, and me, and was back on the road by 9AM. Kent's destination today is Matt Chester's in Sandpoint, ID. Kent is just a really cool, decent guy; I was happy to meet and chat with him for the short time he was here.
