Check out the original configuration of my Raleigh SuperCourse:
This picture was the inspiration for the fixie build. I loved the white brake hoods and bar tape on the original bike, very groovy. So I built up the SuperCourse with white accents in mind and added pink to complement the rootbeer colored frame. I love the way this bike looks and feels. It’s cute and zippy. I imagine it will get a lot of use this summer. An earlier version had a white vinyl purse attached to the seat, but the purse wasn’t big enough for all my stuff (lock, spare tube, wrench, assorted knick knacks). Maybe if I find a big white-vinyl bag, I can strap it to the rack. There’s a Tubus Fly on the bike now to accommodate a bigger load. This fixie will make a good commuter or fast errand bike.
