1983 Trek 720 - 56 cm -- For Sale --$350

Picture of Liza's XO-1

THIS BIKE IS NO LONGER FOR SALE -- it has been revived.

I'm selling this for a friend of mine. This is a great frame and I wish I could justify buying it. But I can't. I would set this up with 700c wheels and big fat Schwalbes -- maybe make an offroad fixed/single speed. I've ridden this bike around the block a few times and I love the feel of the frame. Similar to my RB-T with the small diameter tubing. It just feels alive.

Anyway. Price is $350 + shipping from 99203.

Overall condition of the bike is fair-to-good. There are a few minor scratches along the top tube. It looks like this bike has been sitting in a basement or garage for many years. No rust. If it were mine, I would strip it down and rebuilt, but it's certainly ridable as is.

At the request of an iBob, I removed the kickstand to see if the chainstays had been damaged. Indeed, there appears to be the tiniest bit of flattening on the non-driveside stay. Pictures here:

In addition; there is an identification tag riveted to the seat tube on this bike. Pictures here:
