I am still trying to figure out the baguette in the home oven. This was the closest we've come.
Starter:
  • 500 g all purpose flour
  • 600 ml water
  • 1 TB salt
  • 1/2 fresh yeast cake

  • Dough:
  • 500 g all purpose
  • 1.5 fresh yeast cakes
  • 1 TB salt

  • It had great crust that crackled when it came out, and ok chew. I need to find some better flour for this. I believe the French all purpose flour has more protein than our all purpose flour.
